Carbohydrate

Ek carbohydrate (pronounced /kɑrbɵˈhaɪdreɪt/) ek organic compound hae jiske empirical formula C_m(H₂O)_n hae (jisme m, n se different rahe sake hae); iske matlab ii hae ki isme khaali carbon, hydrogen, aur oxygen rahe hae, aur hydrogen:oxygen atom ke ratio 2:1 (paani ke rakam rahe hae).

Lactose is a disaccharide found in milk. It consists of a molecule of D-galactose and a molecule of D-glucose bonded by beta-1-4 glycosidic linkage. It has a formula of C₁₂H₂₂O₁₁.
