Classical Meitei or Classical Manipuri ek Meitei bhasha (Manipuri bhasha)ke standardized literary form hae. Yeha bhasha Puya (Meitei kitaaben) me likhi huyi bhasha hoti hai. Yeha bhasha Sanamahism (Meitei dharma) ke dharmik bhasha hae. Yeha Meitei sahitya (Manipuri sahitya) ke unchi literary sources ko represent karta hai. Ye bhasha 3500 saalon se prachalit hae.[2][3]
