India ke hockey khilaarri

Dhyan Chand (29 August 1905 - 3 December 1979), India ke ek hockey khilaarri rahaa, jiske hockey ke itihaas me sab se mashuur hockey ke khilaarri maana jaae hae.[3] Chand ke uske ball control aur goal banae ke aur 1928, 1932 aur 1936 ke Olympic Games me medal jiite khaatir jaana jaae hae.[4]

Chand India ke khatir international hockey 1926 se 1949 talak khelis, jisme uu 185 game me 570 goal banais.[5] Uu aapan puura career me 1,000 se jaada gaol banais hae.[6] BBC uske India ke Muhammed Ali ke naam diis rahaa.[6] 1956 me, India ke sarkar uske India ke tiisra sab se barraa civilian honour, Padma Bhushan diis rahaa.[7] 1956 me India ke sarkar uske Padma Bhusan award diis rahaa. Uske birthday ke din , 29 August, India me National Sports Day hae aur India ke sab se barraa khel ke award, Major Dhyan Chand khel Ratna, uske naam ke niche hae.
