Lal ke parrhai Labasa College me bhais rahaa. Iske baad uuHe Lautoka Teachers College se teacher banaa. Baad me uu University of the South Pacific se Bachelor of Arts aur Postgraduate diploma kaeis. Uu Royal Ireland Institute of Business and Technology se Master of Science karis

Graduate hoe ke bbad uu Labasa ke dher school me parrhais. Fir uske Education Officer banaawa gais aur uu Macuata, Bua, [Cakaudrove Province|Cakaudrove]] District aur Lautoka me kaam karis. Uu AusAid ke Program's Manager bhi rahaa.

June 2010 me uu Permanent Secretary for Education, National Heritage, Culture & Arts, Youth & Sports banaa..[1]

2014 ke election me uu FijiFirst ke taraf se kharra bhais aur uske 2700 votes mila, aur Parliament ke member banaa.[2]
